WHY GOOD HEALTH FOR THE CHILD IS EVERYBODY’S JOB

The child is the future of any family as the family is the integral make up of any nation so one can conclude that a child is the future of a nation. It also means a healthy child is a healthy nation. The emphasis is on the individual child so as to stamp the importance of taking good care of every child in the society and to let all realize that GOOD HEALTH FOR THE CHILD is everybody's job.

That statement is very important as when the child is ill the family cannot be itself until the child is back to normal state of health. Moreover a sick child may be a source of a transmissible ailment to other children in the larger society, for example a single child with poliomyelitis is a risk not only to other children around him but to all children in the world, that is exactly the story concerning poliomyelitis right now.

Countries where this disease is still found the usual scenario is that a small number of children in probably a   small community do default immunization for certain reasons, like fear of is being done, lack of trust in the immunization process, lack of proper education or ignorance, distance and nature of the terrain of their address, religious believes, fear of complications, etc when this happens non immunized children fall to the disease and become agent of the disease communication to others within and outside that community and potentially   the whole world.

Now countries where all efforts and hard earned money has been spent to eradicate such disease are now remotely/theoretically at risk of the same transmissible infection that had hitherto been eliminated. What this means is that all hand must be on deck to make sure that efforts that were already invested are not wasted in the long run.

For a healthy future all must make every effort for a healthy child today because if neglected the child may be a risk to the other children around,  other children in the nation and other children in the world, this is WHY GOOD HEALTH FOR THE CHILD IS EVERYBODY'S JOB.
